for over 15 years, i've led design for products reaching hundreds of millions of people; from netflix's global growth surfaces and large-scale enterprise platform to roblox's social experiences. i patented a tool that cut subtitle production at netflix from days to hours. i also picked up an MBA from UC berkeley haas along the way.
i believe design is a vehicle for asking better questions, not a deliverable factory. curiosity, play, and healthy dissent drive everything i do.
i lead with questions, not answers. i'd rather run an experiment that surprises me than ship something i'm already sure about. the data humbles you if you let it.
data tells you what happened. experience helps you guess what might happen next. fifteen years of being wrong in interesting ways is honestly the best training.
designing pages is boring. the interesting stuff lives in the seams between touchpoints. if i can't see the whole mess, i'm solving the wrong problem.
i care about who's in the room; across disciplines, backgrounds, and perspectives. life's too short to be in a room where everyone agrees with you.
